As a mom to three kids, it’s sometimes hard to keep up with all the things my kids need to stay healthy.
I’m always asking their pediatrician for advice and one thing that she really focused on was the importance of gut health and nutrient absorption.
My kids are still in their picky stage of eating and I know that processed foods can take a toll on their bellies. And let’s not even talk about how often they get sick when they’re at school and are put on antibiotics.
Their doctor explained the importance of a probiotic to help balance the bad bacteria that can be caused by the processed foods, excess sugar and antibiotics. When I first found Hiya, we tried out the multivitamin and I was overly impressed with the vitamin itself and the company as a whole.
We then went on to try their Bedtime Essentials (which we also swear by now), and when I saw that Hiya offered a Probiotic I ordered them immediately for a few reasons.

Our Experience With Hiya Kids Probiotics
Since our family has had a very positive experience with Hiya’s Multivitamin and Bedtime Essentials Vitamins, I was obviously intrigued to try the Probiotics.
Our Pediatrician has mentioned giving them one basically every time I bring them in and they are given antibiotics (which was very often this past Winter).
I’ll be the first to admit that my kids don’t eat the most balanced diet, due to be extremely picky eaters and have dealt with many stomach issues in the past. Also my oldest son has been having a lot of issues with allergies and this Probiotic is supposed to help allergy sufferers also.
Since my kids are familiar with Hiya already, they were excited to get a new colorful glass bottle to decorate (and they especially love the teal color of this one).
After taking the Hiya probiotics, I saw a decline in sickness that I’m going to attribute to the vitamins since many kids in their classes were still out sick. Usually my kids catch anything and everything that goes around the classroom!
They asked if these were more “help me sleep” vitamins but I explained that these would help their bellies and hopefully cut down on any belly aches.
I told them that these vitamins have 10 billion live cultures, which they didn’t understand but they though that number was amazing! That sounded good to them and they each opened their sealed packet and emptied them into their bottles.
They picked a color and tried the without hesitation. Each of them liked the probiotics and asked if they could have more, which I explained that these are like their other Hiya vitamins and they get one a day.
I always taste what I give to my kids first and these tasted even sweeter than the other Hiya vitamins they currently take, but there’s still no added sugar!
They each took their bottle and put them in the kitchen next to their other vitamin bottles. Having three kids within four years of each other, I really like that they each get their own and it doesn’t turn into a fight about whose getting the first one since they each have their own.
My boys took them daily and I would say after about 10-12 days is when we started seeing the results. I noticed that they were becoming more regular, whereas in the past they have experienced discomfort and constipation. It definitely wasn’t an instant change, but with continued use we most definitely saw a difference. They continued taking them and went through the fist months supply and there was an obvious change that we noticed.
As far as sickness, my boys had a very rough winter and it seemed like someone was sick every week. We were at the pediatrician weekly and even sometimes twice a week.

My oldest son is the allergy sufferer in the family and usually has to take an allergy medicine daily. Hiya’s Probiotic makes seasonal adjustments because what is needed in Winter may not be the same as what’s needed in the Summer.
I’m happy to say that we’ve cut back on the daily allergy medicine as it was causing him to become drowsy. We are in the height of allergy season right now and his symptoms have been a little more under control.

What We Didn't Like
- We liked everything about Hiya Probiotics and wouldn’t change anything about them.

We’ve Been Using Other Hiya Kids Products, Too
My children have been using the Hiya Multivitamins and Hiya Bedtime Essentials vitamins also.
We’ve had such a positive experience with all of Hiya’s products. Having three picky eaters has challenged me as a mother and I’ve been on the hunt to make sure that they’re getting all the essential vitamins and nutrients they need.
Hiya’s Multivitamin has truly been a lifesaver, with zero added sugar and all natural ingredients. I loved that when I read the ingredients, I saw real fruits and vegetables. My kids love the chewables and enjoy taking them with their breakfast every morning.
We’ve also been using the Hiya Bedtime Essentials and have had so much success with them! My kids (ages 4, 7 and 9) always have a hard time falling asleep and my youngest usually ends up in our bed in the middle of the night.
My kids love taking these and never forget! It’s now part of our nightly routine and I’m so excited to say that our once chaotic bedtime routine has now become enjoyable.
They have been falling asleep faster without issues and my youngest has been sleeping in his bed all night! This has been an ongoing battle that we haven’t been able to fix for a long time.
Is Hiya Kids Probiotics Worth The Price Tag?
In my honest opinion, Hiya Kids Probiotic is worth the price tag due to the fact that it actually works! Hiya offers 50% off the first month, and also offers discounts when ordering for multiple children. The original price is $30 a month, which automatically drops to $15. Since I have three kids, the cost for the first month is only $12.50 per child. There is a very easy to follow drop down menu on their website to figure out your cost per child when ordering for multiples.
Closing Thoughts
Overall we are very happy to have found Hiya Kids Probiotics and will definitely continue to use them.
As a mom, I’m thrilled when I can solve some of my children’s problems that they are facing, and Hiya definitely has done that here. Probiotics are very important for growing bodies and supporting long term guy health and immune systems.
Due to Hiya being a monthly subscription, I can ensure that my children are getting the long term support that they need.
I have already been recommending these to friends and family for their own children and have reported back to our pediatrician about the benefits that I’ve seen firsthand.
