I heard about MOTO after my friend and I were chatting over coffee. I’d never heard of OPositiv before, let alone their metabolism-boosting vitamin. But she had enjoyed some of their other products, so I thought to look to see if there was anything OPositive could help me with.
My metabolism has been sluggish for years, so when I happened upon MOTO, I thought “why not?” I decided to try it out to see if the numbers on my scale actually would go down – or at the very least, maybe I’d have the energy to walk the dogs around more than one block.
Getting older is awful, especially when it comes to lacking energy. The more sedentary I get, the more muscle mass I lose, and the slower my metabolism gets. It’s just a vicious cycle that I’ve tried to stop with healthy eating and exercise.
Try as I might, sometimes I feel my efforts could use a bit of a boost. That’s why I wanted to try out MOTO. In this article I’m going to walk you through my three week journey with MOTO and whether or not I saw results.

Personal Experience and Results Taking Opositiv MOTO
Initial Impressions: The packaging is super cute! Green is my favorite color, so to see a little green jar in my package was a delight. The capsules are average sized, and the text on the bottle is easy to read and understand.
Usage Experience: The capsules are easy to take with my morning coffee and other vitamins. My morning routine is the one consistent part of my day. Remembering to incorporate an evening supplement, however, is more of a challenge, as our nights are sometimes packed with activities and cheeseburgers on the go. I was not able to be consistent with the second daily dose.
Short-term Effects: I did not notice any immediate effects – only three weeks afterwards have I really noticed that my energy levels seem to be increasing. And the scale hasn’t gone up, it has actually gone down! A fraction of a percent, but results are results.
Long-term Results: Three weeks is not long enough for me to be able to accurately note any long-term results. I’d like to see how I feel three months down the line.
Pros and Cons (From My Experience)
What I Liked While Taking It
Pros:
- Low caffeine. At 7mg per serving, I can still enjoy my coffee throughout the day without turning into a jittery mess.
- Increased energy. It took a while, but I noticed feeling more awake first thing in the morning.
- Increased motivation. With more energy, I find myself searching for things to do rather than binging the latest season of Bridgerton.
What Are Some Drawbacks?
Cons:
- Price. Some could consider the price tag a bit much for a supplement that doesn’t magically whisk the fat away. You still need to put in the work – that’s life, sis.
- Short-term results. OPositiv recommends waiting to log results until 8 weeks after taking their product. In the land of instant gratification, that can be frustrating.
- Twice daily. I really don’t like taking two doses a day. It’s an ineffective system for women with busy lives. Incorporating a time-release technology would help us mamas out.
Is MOTO’s $31.99 Price Tag Even Worth It??!
I truly believe the answer to that question depends on what you value, whether you’re going to make actionable changes in your lifestyle, and if you can be committed to figuring out a system for taking two doses a day.
One workaround that could help is putting the bottle in the bathroom by your toothbrush or night cream.
The good news is that MOTO doesn’t have to cost you $31.99. There are always promotions running that can save you money, and if you decide to go the subscription route (why wouldn’t you?) OPositiv automatically takes over 15% off the price tag.
What Is MOTO by Opositiv?
OPositiv boasts that these capsules are developed for healthy, sustainable results. They claim that their product can give a boost to your metabolism, help you burn more calories, keep your blood sugars on balance, and manage a healthy weight.
This is done through their ingredients that have been clinically studied for their individual benefits. It’s the blend of these ingredients that gives MOTO its edge.
Other supplements rely heavily on caffeine for their appetite suppressing power, but MOTO only contains 7mg of caffeine – less than 10% of a cup of coffee. Which means a smoother product that can do its thing in the background, just the way a supplement should.
Ingredients Used
- Green Tea Extract. This is an ingredient we are all familiar with, and has been used in weight loss management supplements for decades and eastern medicine for centuries. Studies are continuously being done on the active ingredient in green tea (EGCG) and how it affects thermogenesis (the body’s ability to produce heat).
- Chromium Picolinate. A form of the mineral Chromium, it is being studied for how it helps insulin perform its functions in regulating blood sugar absorption.
- Black Cumin Seed Extract. Black Seed Oil has also been used in eastern medicine for centuries, although it is only recently being reviewed on its effects on weight loss and metabolism.
Are There Other Metabolism Boosters You Considered? What are some good alternatives out there and why?
Amazon and all the local big box stores have a plethora of supplements to choose from for aiding weight loss. One of the best selling products is MCT oil, which is gaining notoriety for being a fat-burning powerhouse of a product. The problem is, unless you’re adhering to a ketogenic diet, MCT oil is going to add a massive amount of calories you don’t need.
Other supplements I’ve found will claim to support metabolic health without any evidence to back it up. But the ones that claim to be most effective will also include a healthy dose of caffeine, something which is fine in small doses, but can be quite harmful if you take too much without being aware.
These types of products will not work for me as I do need to be careful of caffeine interacting with prescriptions. This is a big reason for me shrugging off weight loss supplements in the past. But MOTO does not include hidden levels of caffeine. It’s manageable and a safer alternative for me compared to the popular choices on Amazon.
Final Thoughts And Recommendation
I was very happy to have tried out OPositiv’s MOTO Metabolism Boosting Capsules. I wasn’t expecting to see much, but there has definitely been a little pep in my step the last couple of days.
I would be excited to see how this plays out over the next few months! The low reactivity with medications, ingredients I actually know and have heard of, and increase in energy make this worth it to me.
I will definitely be recommending this to anyone who needs a little bit of a push to get up and get going. I love seeing my green bottle by my sink as a reminder that I’m taking healthy steps to be better, eat healthier, and go further.
I think anyone with a solid nightly routine wouldn’t find the twice-daily dosage quite as tedious – I think I may be an outlier here. But overall, I was very pleased with my experience with MOTO and am looking forward to exploring more of what OPositive has for me.
