In this Review...

Suja Organic offers cold-pressed juices that cater to people who are looking for real, organic ingredients. I decided to try it for myself to incorporate more healthy ingredients into my diet, while being a busy mom always on the go.

My name is Krissy and I’m a 42 year old mom of three young boys. On my hunt to incorporate more healthy ingredients into my diet, I came across Suja. I started noticing Suja as I was grocery shopping, and have been curious about it for a while now. Since recently getting serious about changing up my eating habits and reading the natural ingredients in it, I decided it was time to give them a try.

In this review I will be covering everything that I have experienced with Suja juices, from taste and health benefits to convenience and price..

Ratings Breakdown of Suja Juices

Overall Rating: 4.7/5

Overall, Suja has set the bar very high when it comes to delivering real, clean ingredients to support both immune and digestive health. Always made with organic ingredients and sourced from local farms as much as possible, Suja is helping people transform their nutrition and their lives overall. They are not only convenient, but also so delicious with a unique blend of flavors. Their price range falls within the same range as drinks with less clean ingredients.

Taste and Palatability: 5/5

I was so impressed with the taste of these juices! They all tasted so refreshing and the combination of flavors were perfect.

Nutritional Value: 4.5/5

These juices all have high nutritional value, most with low sugars and excellent sources of vitamins. With no preservatives and no added flavors, these cold pressed juices have so much to offer.

Convenience: 5/5

The convenience of these juices are amazing. All you need to do is refrigerate, shake and enjoy on the go. I took these with me to the beach and baseball games and they were so easy to bring along.

Price: 4/5

The price ranges from anywhere from $3.28-$4.59 which I feel is a very fair price for the quality and taste of what you are getting.

Health Benefits: 5/5

There are many health benefits to juicing, one of which include nutrients being absorbed faster into the body. Cold pressed juices can also give you more energy and stamina, which was very important to me.

My Experience and A Detailed Review of Suja Juices

Citrus Immunity

This cold pressed juice is a mix of purified water, orange, pineapple, mango and coconut. It’s a twist on the classic orange juice, and is packed with ingredients that provide Vitamins C and D, Zinc and Live Probiotics. At first glance of the ingredients, I assumed I would like the taste of this juice, but I was shocked at just how good it was!

I drank this juice on the beach and it was so refreshing on a very hot and sunny day. It was very easy to throw it in the cooler and bring it along with me. The hints of all the tropical fruits really elevated a classic orange juice taste. It was the perfect amount of sweetness, with a tropical twist.

Vibrant Probiotic

suja vibrant probiotic juice

The vibrant color of this drink instantly caught my eye. This juice is made up of purified water, strawberry, raspberry, lemon and honey, paired with tart cherry, stevia and probiotics. I was interested to try this one because it supports digestive and immune health by being packed with probiotics. The taste was absolutely incredible! It has a taste that I have never experienced all together before and I loved the freshness and blend of the flavors.

It was a bit tart in the best way possible and was so easy to drink. When I finished this drink I knew I needed to buy more. I was very impressed with this combination of flavors and how the strawberry and raspberry played off the other flavors  to balance it all.

Ginger Love

I was very curious to give this blend of purified water, lemon, ginger, pineapple, stevia and cayenne a try. The mix of the ingredients and the cayenne was the perfect blend of a gingery lemonade. I made sure to shake this one up very well because of the cayenne and ginger.

The ginger was strong and the other ingredients balanced it well, with the cayenne giving the perfect kick! The cayenne was very strong and spicy, which gave the drink a very bold, spicy taste. I’m a fan of spicy drinks and this was the perfect amount of spice!

Lemon Love

Lemon Love is an organic lemonade juice made up of purified water, lemon, stevia and cayenne. In my opinion, this is the perfect summary spicy lemonade. I drank it chilled from a cooler and shook it very well. I shook it each time that I sipped it, as the cayenne naturally settles.

The cayenne gave the drink a spicy aspect, which I loved. I’ve always loved the blend of sweet and spicy and that is exactly what this drink delivered. It’s simple, with few ingredients but delivers a robust amount of flavor.

Mighty Dozen

This cold pressed green juice is made up of apple, celery, cucumber, kale, collard greens, lemon, mint tea, ginger, spinach, spirulina, chlorella and barley grass. It has 1.5 servings of fruits and vegetables per bottle and is a nutrient dense juice.

It was shockingly more sweet than I imagined it to be after reading the ingredients. I tasted a lot of apple and mint tea, which was unexpected. With other green juices that I have tried there has been an aftertaste, but that wasn’t the case with the Mighty Dozen. It was actually very tasty and refreshing!

Uber Greens

Uber Greens is another green juice made up of cucumber, celery, grapefruit, green chard, lettuce, lemon, kale, spinach, parsley and mint tea. This juice was on the bitter side and I tasted a lot of green chard. This was not on the sweet side like many of the other juices.

Celery Juice

Suja’s cold pressed celery juice with a squeeze of lemon is 100% juice. The taste of this juice is smooth, and tastes just like celery with an added hint of lemon. In the past while trying to make my own celery juice and not having the proper tools, I found that it can be difficult to get the perfect celery juice and consistency.

The convenience that Suja provides here is worth the money spent per bottle. It has a refreshing taste and the lemon doesn’t overpower the last of the celery by any means.

Health Benefits I Experienced With Suja Juices

Improved sleep patterns

As we know, when we’re fueling our bodies with organic and natural ingredients we start to see changes across the board. I haven’t always been the best sleeper, but by changing my food and drink habits I’m happy to say that I have seen an improvement in my sleep. I truly think that Suja juices have played a part in that, which is why they have continued to be part of my daily routine. One thing that I have noticed is that I’m having much less trouble falling asleep, while that was one of my main issues in the past.

Enhanced energy levels

After incorporating the juices into my daily routine, overall I just felt better and I also think they helped me to make better food choices for the rest of the day. I felt better and had higher energy due to the hydration and vitamins from these juices. I know that in my daily life, I’m not always getting the recommended serving sizes of fruits and vegetables, so by adding in these juices I’m helping my body reach those goals in an easily attainable manner.

Skin improvement and reduced bloating

My skin is usually very dry and acts up on occasion. Since beginning to drink these juices, I have found that my skin is much less dry and more hydrated than ever. My water consumption is always on the lower side, and I’ve learned that juicing is a great way to get a natural source of water from fruits and vegetables.

As far as bloating, I can say with confidence that I have been much less bloated since drinking Suja. I feel better overall, but the bloating has been a major change that I’ve been able to see and feel.

Pros and Cons

What I Liked

  • Natural ingredients, no added sugars
  • 100% organic, non GMO ingredients
  • Cold pressed means that the nutrients and enzymes are preserved
  • Convenient and easy to take on the go, no messy juicing any home
  • Juicing increases immunity, gives you more energy and hydrates you
  • These juices are an excellent way to up your fruits and vegetables daily intake

What I Didn't Like

  • Although the cost is similar to other juices on the market, it can add up if you’re drinking one or two a day
  • Although there are no added sugars, you have to keep an eye on the amount of natural sugar you’ll be drinking if you’re drinking multiple a day

About Suja, The Brand

Suja was founded in 2012 with a mission to inspire people to take charge of their wellness journey through conscious nutrition. The founders felt as though everything on the market weren’t  up to the standards they felt were important, such as clean, nutritious and readily available beverages.

Since growing in popularity, they still focus on the same mission and create exciting blends that not only deliver high quality taste, but also continue using high quality ingredients. They continue to use High-Pressure Processing instead of heat to help maintain the nutrients and fresh tase, while extending the shelf life without using preservatives.

Pricing and Where To Buy Suja Juices

Suja can be found online and in stores. They are available online  directly from Suja, Amazon, Instacart, Target, Amazon Fresh, Whole Foods, Walmart, Fresh Direct, Legman’s, and Walgreens.

Final Thoughts

Since trying Suja a few weeks ago, I have already repurchased many of the juices again and continue to drink them daily. As a very busy mom, I really love the convenience of being able to grab a healthy drink on the go. Suja has created delicious blends of cold pressed juice with vitamins and antioxidants that we all need. Although they could have priced these much higher, they kept them at a fair price and made them accessible to many more customers.

Have you given Suja cold pressed juices a try yet? If so, which ones have been your favorite? I’d love to hear your take on any of the juices that I’ve covered here!
